Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and JVANET PTY LTD (Australia) for your use of Kilig.

Pre-launch draft. Kilig has not been released. These terms are published for review ahead of launch and are pending review by Philippine and Australian counsel.

1. You must be 18 or over

Kilig is for adults. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18 years old. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are removed, and we may report the matter where the law requires it.

2. Your account

  • Provide accurate information about yourself, and keep it accurate.
  • One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone.
  • Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Do not sell, rent, or transfer your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kilig to:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or intimidate anyone
  • Post sexually explicit material, or any sexual content involving minors
  • Solicit money, investment, gifts, or financial information from other members
  • Advertise, recruit, or promote commercial services
  • Post content that is hateful towards a group of people
  • Share another person’s private information without their consent
  • Use automated tools to access, scrape, or create accounts
  • Circumvent a block, a ban, or any safety control
  • Break any applicable law

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members on Kilig. Content that is objectionable — including harassment, threats, hate speech, sexually explicit material, fraud, and any sexual content involving minors — is prohibited. We act on reports of such content and on abusive members within 24 hours of a report, by removing the content, and by warning, suspending, or permanently banning the account responsible. Accounts banned for abuse are not permitted to return.

Every member can report any other member, and can block anyone at any time. Reporting and blocking are free and always available. See the safety page for how this works.

5. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant JVANET PTY LTD a licence to host, store, and display it for the purpose of operating Kilig. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention described in the privacy policy.

Only post photos of yourself, that you have the right to use.

6. Purchases

  • Kilig is free to download. Memberships and gifts are optional in-app purchases.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Refunds are handled by them, not by us.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Deleting your Kilig account does not cancel a store subscription — only the store can.
  • Gifts and tokens are for expression inside Kilig only. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, goods, or services, and cannot be transferred or removed from the platform by any means.
  • No paid feature grants access to another member’s private contact details, or weakens any safety control.

7. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time — see account deletion. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, and will normally tell you why unless doing so would compromise an investigation or someone’s safety.

8. No guarantees about other people

Kilig provides verification and safety tools, but we do not conduct criminal background checks and we cannot guarantee that any member is who they claim to be. Use your judgement, take introductions slowly, and read the safety page before meeting anyone.

9. Liability

Kilig is provided as-is. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, the Philippine Consumer Act, or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
